Eastern Cuba January 2023

 CUBA TOUR JANUARY 2023

From January 18th to 27th, my wife Leslie, friends Jeff and Shari Roth, and I traveled to Cuba for the first time.  Here's a short chronicle of that trip.

Day 1. Miami to Holguin to Guadarlavaca (Aguada La Piedra)

We arrived in Holguin and then stayed for two nights at the home of Marbee, who operates a "Casa Particulare" in Aguada La Piedra, with help from her sister-in-law, Odelidia.

I enjoyed a Cohiba with Herschel on our first night.

The rest of our trip, which is yet to be fully documented here, took us down to Santiago, then up to Gibara, and finally to Cayo Cruz, before returning to Holguin.
